Motorway Munich – Salzburg. ATTENTION – CURRENTLY: the Traunstein/Siegsdorf exit is not recommended due to a long-term road closure between Inzell and Lofer.
Either follow the A8 and A93 to Tiroler Straße in Oberaudorf, take A93 exit 59–Oberaudorf; or take the A8 exit Bad Reichenhall and then go via Bad Reichenhall to Lofer.

By car from the south:
Motorway Innsbruck – Munich, take Wörgl Ost exit, then via St. Johann and Lofer to St. Martin.

By train:

  • Nearest station for travelers from Germany: Bad Reichenhall (DE) – approx. 25 km

  • Saalfelden – approx. 25 km

  • Salzburg – approx. 53 km

By plane:

  • Munich Airport – approx. 190 km

  • Salzburg Airport – approx. 45 km
